Agastache 'Tango' (Giant Hyssop 'Tango') Herb in 1 litre Pot
Flowering in abundance, Agastache 'Tango' is an attractive perennial to give colour and scent to your garden. Also known as Giant Hyssop 'Tango' has aromatic foliage, the branching flower spikes are full of sizzling orange, tubular blooms flowering over a long period from late summer into late autumn. It is a beautiful addition to any Herb Garden the flowers are good for cutting. It is native south Western USA also known as Hummingbird mint. A Drought tolerant plant it benefits from good drainage and a sheltered position in full sun.
It has a height and spread of 50cm x 40cm, and is a half hardy Herbaceous perennial which will require some over winter protetion
Herb Usage
The highly aromatic anise-flavoured young leaves are used as a flavouring in salads and in tea. This particualr variety of Hyssop is grown primarily for its floral display.
