Angelica senensis is an summer flowering Angelica that will give the same impact as its more well know spring flowering version Angelica arcangelica. A large, architecturally stunning plant that can reach 1 - 2 meters tall, this interesting addition to the herb garden is best sited in a full sun position, but will take some shade, and prefers moist soil. An
Chinese angelica is well known for its uses in treating women's medoical issues.
Due to the height and size of the leaves, Angelica can be windblown, so may need staking once it has reached full size.
As with other Angelicas the seeds need to be planted in warm conditions, covered with a thin layer of compost/vermiculite. Germination should be from 14-21 days.
