Celery Leaf - Apium graveolens
Type: Biennial
Celery Leaf, or Apium graveolens is a fully hardy biennial plant that produces aromatic, fresh leaves with a strong flavour of celelry. Also known as Wild Celery, this attractive plant will send up furrowed stalks in its second year of life, which hold tiny green-white flowers.
The young leaves are lovely used in salads or to flavour soups and sauces, and there is some evidence of benefit to those who suffer from osteo-arthritis.
Height: 30cm - 1m
