Common Toadflax (Linaria aeruginea 'Neon Lights' ) Herb in 9cm Pot
Toadflax neon lights will grow well in any soil in sun or partial shade. It grows in clusters and has 'snap-dragon' like flowers from June to October, these can be pale yellow, orange, pink, red, white and purple with some being bi-coloured, you will have a mixture of colours you never know what you will get ! Common toadflax is native to the UK and is often found in meadows, hedgerows, and road verges it can be invasive as it spreads by its roots but can be kept in check by pulling up unwanted plants, this will not be as invasive as its common relation. It can be grown in a meadow or flower border and is also very attractive to bees.

The Linaria aeruginea 'Neon Lights' is grown purely for its ornamental characteristics its relation yellow toadflax has been used in ancient folk medicine and is said to have astringent and diuretic properties.
