We are proud to have launched the exciting Hooksgreen Herbs 'Variegated Grapefruit Mint' at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016.
Variegated Grapefruit mint is an attractive mint plant during the summer months but comes into its own in late summer and early autumn as the variegation starts to take on purples and pinks in the leaf with and abundance of mauve flowers over these beautiful leaves creating a striking late show in the garden.
Herb Usage
NEW Variegated Grapefruit Mint also has a wonderful scent and taste, which brings a hit of citrus to any summer cocktail or just adding a lovely freshness to ice and water. As well as adding flavour the flowers will be a haven for bees in late summer. As with all mints Variegated Grapefruit mint will grow almost anyway, but the best colours are produced in full sun and any soil type.
