2009 has been an eventful but very successful year for us. While attending the usual plant fairs and garden shows across the country, we were able to put on displays in the floral marquee's of some of the larger more prestigious ones.
The year began well with a gold medal at Harrogate Spring Flower Show and a silver gilt at Malvern Spring RHS Show.
It was particularly exciting to have exhibited at the BBC Gardeners World, but where, unfortunately, we only managed a bronze medal. Important lessons were learned here, and every label on our dislpay plants will, in future, be scrutinised for spelling errors!!
Our virgin Hampton Court experience was superb, and we had a very enjoyable show. We left Tatton Park RHS Show with a silver medal for our display, and as this was the first year we were invited into the floral marquee, we were pleased.
Shrewesbury Flower show was another highlight, with a gold medal for our exhibit.
Southport Flower Show was a new experience in the herberetium, and we hope to build on the silver gilt mdal we were awarded there.
Harrogate and Malvern Autumn both netted us a silver medal, and we are looking forward to 2010 as we hope to improve on our tally!
