The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.

A brand NEW flowering shrub Sage (salvia) for our collection at Hooksgreen Herbs. We will be lauching 'Lady Jane' at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 17th July 2019.
This new plant is a great addition to our collection of over 50 sages (salvias), growing to 50 - 75cm tall, it has upright elegant almost black stems from which bright pink flowers with a white throat appear starting in late spring, right through to early autumn giving a fantastic display for the entire growing season. Salvia 'Lady Jane' prefers a sunny spot in the garden, flourishing in a well drained site. The Ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, in our experience, is the spring. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
Herb Usage
Salvia sp. 'Lady Jane' has a fruity scent to the leaf and could be used in puddings and summer drinks to give a fruity undertone.

Healthy Plant
Well packed and clearly addressed. Very healthy plant which will hopefully grow into a pretty plant.

Wait and see
The plant arrived extremely dry, so dry in fact that most of the leaves were on the top of pot and not on the plant. I suspect that it had been either at the couriers for a while or sitting somewhere for a while before being sent out. Disappointing.
