Plant arrived looking healthy given its november arrival and very well packaged. Looking forward to spring to see it come to life.
Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.
The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.
Nodding Sage (Salvia Nutans)Herb in 9cm Pot
Nodding sage is an attractive plant with purple flowers that curve at the tips and droop like grapes, It has long leaves and can tower up to 1m tall. It is native of meadow land in central Europe
Great container or garden plant for full sun to partial shade. Drought tolerant once established.
A great addition to the garden Nodding Sage prefers a sunny spot flourishing in a well drained border or in a large pot is ideal as it can be given some overwinter protection in exposed areas. The Ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, is the spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required to encourage flowers and new growth. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.

Sage has been used for centuries as a culinary herb, Nodding Sage is grown as a perennial herb plant primarily for its flowers, which as wall as being beautiful, are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
