Sage 'Rose Queen' flowers from Jul to September with tall spikes of rose-pink flowers it prefers a sunny spot flourishing in a well drained border or in a large pot. The ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, is the Spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
