Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.

Its retention of water makes it good for sustaining the growth of seeds. It can also be added to Potting compost for container planting as it will retain moisture, and improves soil condition by improving aeration. As it has excellent water holding capabilities it is an excellent addition to sandy soils or dried out ground. It will slowly release nutrients back to your plant which it has absorbed during watering.
How to Use
Vermiculite’s insulating properties means it is particularly good when you need to cover seeds prior to germination. You can mix it into composts and it’s great for hydroponic systems.
