Sage 'Hot Trumpets' (Salvia roemeriana 'Hot Trumpets') Herb in 1L Pot

Salvia roemeriana is a perennial and a native of Mexico.  It has dark green leaves and flowers heavily from June - October with spikes of crimson red. The ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages is the Spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
