Fragaria 'Lipstick' (Ornamental Strawberry 'Lipstick') Herb Plant

£6.99

Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.

The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.

Ornamental Strawberry 'Lipstick' (Fragaria 'Lipstick') Herb in 1L Pot

This beautiful variety of ornamental strawberry has a profuse display of bright pink flowers from May to September, which are held high on short stalks above the deep green leaves. A real show stopper - this lovely specimen was featured in our Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal display, and if looked after well during the growing season, it will produce small white strawberries with a hint of pink through the fruit. It is a good idea to remove the fruit to encourage more flowers throughout the season.

Herb Usage

Although not really advisable to eat, the fruit is very decorative and this variety is well worth planting for a ground cover with a bit of zing. It is also very attractive trailing out of pots, baskets or window boxes.
