Ginger Mint (Mentha x gracilis 'Variegata') Herb in 9 cm Pot
Ginger Mint will thrive anywhere, preferring moist partly shady areas, and are easy to grow from cuttings or replanting of runners. To control spread, this herb should be planted in sunken bottomless containers and kept well watered to ensure good leaf production.
Ginger Mint will produce small mauve flower spikes in mid to late summer, and grow 15-30cm tall.
The distinctive delicate aroma and taste of Ginger mint may be used in sauces to complement meats (chicken and veal), soups, salads, vegetable dishes, sweet dishes and drinks.
