Atlas Mountains Mint is a rare mint it is an upright spreading Herbaceous Perennial plant that may be best contained in a pot it will reach a height of 60cm . Mint Atlas Mountains has rounded green/grey hairy leaves and is very attractive when grown as a foliage plant as its overall effect is that of a soft blue/green it has spikes of mauve flowers in late summer which are very attractive to bees and butterflies. It prefers a Chalky or Sandy Loam which is free-draining and full-sun. It is hardy down to a cold winter having come from the mountains.

Atlas Mountains Mint is cultivated as a culinary herb with an aromatic mint flavour this particular variety is better in cooked dishes it is a really attractive foliage plant in it own right or great if used for its scent.
