Jacob's ladder'Brise d'Anjou'(Polemonium caeruleum' Brise d'Anjou') Herb in1 litre Pot

Jacobs ladder 'Brise d'Anjou' is a really pretty plant grown for its attractive variegated golden foliage. It is a clump-forming attractive perennial of upright growth, growing up to 60cm tall, with ferny leaves where the leaflets are alternate giving a ladder-like appearance hence the common name, the leaflets are edged with cream, and small light blue flowers in Spring.   Flowers April - May. Grow in any fertile, moist but well-drained soil preferably in full sun or partial shade. 

Herb Usage

In the past Jacobs Ladder was used in herbal medicine for its diaphoretic (producing copious perspiration), astringent and expectorant qualities; an infusion of the root being considered useful in coughs, colds, and bronchial and lung complaints .

    This was one of seven plants I ordered for delivery I've never received such well packaged healthy plants & quick delivery with online orders in the past, repotted immediately & it has almost doubled in size in just a couple of weeks, hoping it'll soon be flowering, very happy with all of the plants will definitely be ordering more when I can squeeze them into my garden!
