Bulley's Sage (Salvia Bulleyana Diels) Herb in 1 litre Pot
Salvia Bulleyana Diels is a variety of Sage that is native to the high, cold slopes of the Chinese Yunnam province, where it grows to approximately 75cm tall and 60cm wide. The striking yellow flowers are tipped with dark brown/purple lips, and are fabulous in late summer. The leaves are deeply wrinkled with soft hair in abundance. Bulley's Sage prefers a light well-drained soil and a sunny situation it will require shelter from cold, drying winds. Great in a mixed border but especially at home in a cottage style or informal garden setting.
Herb Usage
Grown as a decorative border plant this sage is not renowned for culinary or medicinal use. it is best grown to admire the striking floral display which is also popular with pollinating insects.
