Salvia sp. 'Annabel' ( Sage sp.' Annabel ')Herb Plant

Some Herbs may be too tall for our standard packaging and will be trimmed to fit. This will not be detrimental to the plant but will mean that these herbs will flower later in the year.

The Blister packs used to protect our beautiful herbs during transit are made from 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled kerbside.

Sage sp.' Annabel' (Salvia sp. 'Annabel') Herb in 1L pot

A brand NEW flowering shrub Sage (salvia) for our collection at Hooksgreen Herbs. We will be lauching 'Annabel' at BBC Gardeners World Live Show at the NEC in June.

This new plant is a great addition to our collection of over 50 sages (salvias), growing to 75 - 100cm tall, it has bright pink flowers starting in late spring right through to early autumn giving a fantastic display for the entire growing season. Salvia 'Annabel' prefers a sunny spot in the garden, flourishing in a well drained site. The Ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, in our experience, is the spring. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.

Herb Usage

Salvia sp. 'Annabel' has a fruity scent to the leaf and could be used in puddings and summer drinks to give a fruit undertone.
