Salvia nana 'Curling Waves' has fragrant bi-colour blue and white flowers from June to October with aromatic oval red-purple leaves which appear in spring and that turn green by summer. A great addition to the garden Salvia nana'Curling Waves' prefers a sunny spot flourishing in a well drained border or in a large pot. A relatively small Salvia approx 40cm x 40cm. The Ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, is the spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sage's are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
