Salvia 'Wendy's Wish' is native from Australia. It is a relatively new Salvia that is dense and bushy and flowers from summer until the frosts. It has reddish stems producing long pink flowers. Sage 'Wendy's Wish' prefers a sunny spot flourishing in a well drained border or in a large pot. The ideal time for cutting back flowering shrub sages, is the Spring once new growth can be seen and risk of frost has past. Cut up to half the plant back shaping as needed. If Sages are becoming leggy then a light summer cut may be required. Dead heading the old flowers will encourage new flowers all season.
